This design was drawn in the warmer months, between spring and summer, when this gorgeous Georgian town is filled with warmth. Oh how I adore seeing the warm brick work glow in the suns rays. I moved to Stamford 8 years ago and I don’t think I will ever stop loving it. This view is one of my favourites – looking down St. Mary’s Hill from the church, past the music shop which I visit quite often, the old vintage bookshop which I love to browse in, Zada’s Turkish restaurant which I love to eat at and of course, over the bridge is The infamous George hotel.
