WHAT TO EXPECT: These fun & relaxed artist-led workshops aim to capture your child’s imagination, allowing their inner artist to shine. All abilities are welcome within the KS2 classes (Years 3-6)
Each session will involve learning about different styles of art and artists – not just the famous ones! We will try a variety of techniques and materials, such as illustration, painting, printing, mixed media collage, sculpting etc.
Your child will have a creation to take home at the end of every session. However, we will follow the mantra “process over product” encouraging exploration, experimentation and discovery, rather than solely focusing on the end result. This approach fosters children’s creativity, curiosity, and self-expression offering them a more innovative and flexible learning journey at their own pace.
